The 99th anniversary of NCHU is coming! For celebrating the school day, the Art Center invited Mr. Ming Shan, Chien who has high popularity in the field of Chinese calligraphy to have a solo exhibition at NCHU. Hope it will let students get to know more about Chinese calligraphy, love it and make it be part of our lives. The calligraphy exhibition will be held from 25th Oct. to 24th Nov., 2018.
Mr. Chien is specialized in all styles of Chinese calligraphy and kept on trying diverse structures of his creative works. His works of calligraphy were awarded by many well-known competitions and art events. The previous decade he concentrated on integrating the ink painting and calligraphy to emerge a dialogue between words and images to make strong connection with visitors. This exhibition offers enrichment elements of Chinese literature and great resource of educational materials for school and community activities. We are looking forward to seeing you at the art center and enjoy the indicative and functional aesthetic space.
