An ink painting and calligraphy exhibition of Ko, Yao-Tung will be held from 27th Dec.,2018 to 26th Jan., 2019 at the Art Center of NCHU. Mr. Ko specialized in drawing beautiful landscapes with ink and expressing ode to the traditional farm life in countryside of Taiwan. After cultivating in art for over 50 years, Mr. Ko has high popularity in the field of ink painting. Now he is 86-years-old and still keep on creating. The Mountains beyond, shrouded in mist, colorful field on earth, farms, poultry and old style houses with people are common elements to see in his works. By his masters of art, viewers could be immersed in the love that Mr. Ko try to tell the pure happiness of life and create an internal space for viewer to relax. The little things that make life great. This exhibition offers great resource of educational materials for school and community activities.
